Experience Description
Trusting God
I was standing in the kitchen that day, having just given my life to Jesus earlier that morning around 1 a.m. Two days before, on my 29th birthday (July 1, 2016), I had a vision from God where I was taken to the throne room in heaven, which caused me to believe in His unconditional love for humanity.
I returned to the apartment that morning after committing my life to Jesus. My boyfriend was there, and I went into the kitchen to cut vegetables. As I worked, I reflected on the vision and what God had shown me. I silently asked Him what the difference was between religious people, like Christians, and those who didn’t believe, like atheists. The answer came instantly: trust (or what some call "faith"). Some, like Christians, trusted in God’s goodness and presence without physical proof, while others did not.
The Joy of Jesus Christ
When I realized this, I placed my trust in God completely. Immediately, a golden light poured into my heart from heaven, filling me with joy I knew was from Jesus, not myself. I understood then that worldly happiness was temporary, but true joy was eternal and came only from God. This was the experience I had prayed for as a child, the moment Jesus truly entered my heart. Though I had believed in Him before, I had never felt His presence like this. Overwhelmed with ecstasy and gratitude, I said aloud, "Oh my God! Jesus has come into my heart, just as the Christians said!"
Walking Out of the Apartment
I glanced at my boyfriend, an atheist, sitting on the sofa. Not wanting to offend him, I casually waved and said, "I’m going shopping!" before heading to the car. Outwardly, I appeared calm, but inside, I was radiant with joy, bathed in the golden light of Jesus.
It’s Your Time
I walked downstairs to the parking lot, gazing at the sky in peace. As I approached my car, another vehicle sped toward me from the street. I knew it would hit me. In that moment, I felt it was my time. Everything slowed as I entered another dimension, surrounded by pure white light drifting upward like a sparkling waterfall. God’s voice, soft but certain, spoke to my heart: "It’s your time."
Emotional Accomplishment
Relief washed over me. My life journey had exhausted me; struggling with autism, the demands of college, societal pressures. Without words, God conveyed that I had completed my soul’s purpose. I felt a pang of regret for unfulfilled dreams, like earning a PhD, but He reassured me that my true accomplishments were inward, where they mattered most.
Crystal City
A vision unfolded in my chest. I saw a crystal city. It was a glassy, blue city, shimmering like ice. Excited, I thought, "I’m going there!" Then, God clarified with humor, "On Earth, they call this ‘the Kingdom of Heaven.’" The Bible’s language, I realized, differed from heavenly truth.
Years earlier, as an atheist, I had feared death after nearly choking. Now, I wept with gratitude. Not only was I spared that fear, but I was welcomed into heaven despite my past.
Leaving My Body
My soul, a luminous oval crystal, rose swiftly. I observed myself from within and outside it simultaneously, like watching a film. God’s presence enveloped me as we ascended. Below, I saw my lifeless body in the parking lot and waved goodbye, at peace.
The Golden Cord
A network of golden threads connected every heart on Earth. Closeness or distance between souls mirrored their spiritual bonds. God then revealed humanity as a symphony. Each soul was a radiant note, distinct yet essential, harmonizing into divine music.
God’s Goodness
He emphasized that while suffering exists, nothing unloving originates from Him. All things weave into a greater good. Scripture resonated in my heart: "In all things God works for the good of those who love Him" (Romans 8:28).
Jesus as Father
Christ appeared as a figure of white light, arms open. He conveyed that He and God were one loving Father, not to be feared.
Humanity’s Timeline
Over His shoulder, I glimpsed Earth’s past and future: creation, wars, destruction. The symbols Alpha (Α) and Omega (Ω) hovered near Him, a reminder that despite chaos, we need not fear.
Our Generation
He assured me our generation would witness His return. With the Holy Spirit, we’d be beamed up like in the Star Trek movies. We would be filled with a joyous, light-filled departure.
Healing and Pre-Birth Contracts
Not all would be physically healed, God explained. Before birth, souls agree to certain trials for growth. Heart condition, not bodily wholeness, mattered most.
Leaving Earth
As I rose, I saw my boyfriend and my mother. I knew all would be fine.
Ecstasy and Joy
Ascending faster, bliss intensified beyond containment. Layers multiplied 10,000-fold and exponentially until I feared my being couldn’t withstand it.
Looking Back at Earth
From space, shadowed hearts stretched across the planet, unaware of God’s light. Grieved, I told Him, "They were like me! My story could help them!"
Back to Earth
Instantly, I returned to my body just before impact. Time shifted; the car swerved. Unharmed, I stood in awe, recalling heaven’s glory.
Quickening of the Spirit
Trembling with divine energy, I rushed inside. Sitting beside my boyfriend, I turned to him and said, "I think God is good."

I clearly left my body and existed outside it
How did your highest level of consciousness and alertness during the experience compare to your normal everyday consciousness and alertness?
More consciousness and alertness than normal, I felt much more aware and awake on the other side, as though everything was brighter, more vivid, and clearer. Feelings of peace, love, and joy were intensely magnified.
At what time during the experience were you at your highest level of consciousness and alertness?
I felt I was at no higher or lesser level of consciousness. Simply, everything became much more vivid and magnified.
Were your thoughts speeded up?
Faster than usual
Did time seem to speed up or slow down?
Time seemed to go faster or slower than usual, Time seemed to go faster, and yet everything seemed to be happening at once. I knew there was no such thing as time, since time is just a construct, and on the other side, there is only forever or eternity. I could see things happening all at once, and my vision moved at the speed of light. I could look out and see from every angle and direction simultaneously, and when I was going upwards, I felt everything happening or moving up faster and faster.

Yes, I was completely surrounded by pure, white light of God that contained silvery light and pastel sparkles, like a waterfall flowing upwards towards Heaven.

A clearly mystical or unearthly realm, Yes, I entered into another dimension full of pure, white light, that looked like a waterfall flowing upwards and into Heaven. I was shown a vision of a city I would be going to, called Crystal City, that looked like a sparkling, blue, crystal shimmering city of light. I was told this place was called "The Kingdom of Heaven" on Earth by God.

Peace, love, joy, and ecstasy! I felt so much unconditional love and light!

Scenes from the world's future, I saw the world's future, from the time of Adam and Eve in the garden, through the time of the Israelites in the Bible, and into the time of the end where there will be a lot of wars. Each time was segmented into blocks, as if to indicate a different era within history. When Jesus showed me this, the symbols Alpha and Omega appeared next to Him, as if to indicate that He is the beginning and the end. I was also shown that it is important not to worry about the wars, the end of time, and the experience of the second coming of Jesus, the rapture, or the ascension.

God, Spiritual and Religion
What was your religion prior to your experience?
Christian- Protestant, I had just given my life to Jesus the morning of the experience, and I became a Christian. However, only days earlier, I was an atheist who did not believe in God. This changed during a vision I had a few days before this one, where God took me to a heavenly realm and showed me His unconditional love for humanity.
Have your religious practices changed since your experience?
Yes, I go to church now, try to read the Bible regularly, and have a spiritual practice of trying to spend time with God every morning in prayer or worship.
What is your religion now?
Christian- Protestant, I consider myself a Christian. However, I am very interested and open-minded about other faiths. I do not believe Christianity is the only way to God, but the connection a person has with God matters more than their individual religion.
Did your experience include features consistent with your earthly beliefs?
Content that was both consistent and not consistent with the beliefs you had at the time of your experience, I grew up Methodist but became an atheist for fifteen years. I studied the Bible deeply but later found religion restrictive and turned to science for intellectual freedom. As an atheist, I believed life was about experiences, joy, and love. Meeting God and visiting Heaven revealed the profound truth behind my earlier beliefs while transcending them.
Did you have a change in your values and beliefs because of your experience?
Yes, I believe in a God of unconditional love, that there is no judgement after death. I believe in and see angels. I believe that everyone of every religion or lack thereof is loved and completely beautiful to God. I know now there is only forgiveness on the other side.
Did you seem to encounter a mystical being or presence, or hear an unidentifiable voice?
I encountered a definite being, or a voice clearly of mystical or unearthly origin, Yes, I heard the voice of God, I encountered God, the angels, and I encountered Jesus Christ.
During your experience, did you gain information about universal connection or oneness?
Yes, Yes, I understood that we are all one and equal, though I did not feel an overwhelming sense of oneness with humanity. God showed me a golden thread or cord of light connecting every human being, symbolizing our interconnectivity. When God revealed the symphony of souls, I saw that every soul is equally valued, as each unique frequency contributes to the beauty of the whole. This oneness became clearer when God showed how individual souls are woven together for a greater purpose.

During your experience, did you gain special knowledge or information about your purpose?
Yes, I felt called to share my story, especially with this generation, to reassure people not to fear the future, wars, or ascension events. I was to convey that God transforms hardships into good, that God is love, and to explain why suffering occurs and how to heal emotionally.
During your experience, did you gain information about the meaning of life?
Yes, Our purpose is simply to love. God showed me that love is His will and purpose for our lives—nothing more, nothing less.
During your experience, did you gain information about an afterlife?
Yes, Yes, I was going to Heaven, and there is clearly a life after death!
Did you gain information about how to live our lives?

During your experience, did you gain information about life's difficulties, challenges and hardships?
Yes, God showed me that while difficult events occur, they are woven into a pattern for ultimate good. God does not cause hardships but can transform them into something positive. For example, God did not break your leg, but can heal it and turn the experience into a story of good. Our lives are not just about us; a challenge in one life may benefit another. Not everyone will be physically healed, as some soul contracts include illness for growth. God emphasized emotional healing over physical healing, as we are near the end times, and urged us to focus on love and forgiveness. Trauma and negative emotions are stored in the body, not the soul.
During your experience, did you gain information about love?
Yes, I felt complete and unconditional love from God and understood that our earthly experiences are meant to teach us about love.
What life changes occurred in your life after your experience?
I felt greater peace, love, and joy, and desired deeper connections with others. I explored world religions to find common ground. The angels guided me to reduce meat consumption, and I became more artistically creative rather than scientifically focused.
Have your relationships changed specifically as a result of your experience?
Yes, I found it hard, in some ways, to have friendships because people did not share my faith in God. Most of my friends were atheists or agnostics. After the experience, I just wanted to talk all about God, Jesus, or spiritual things, and I found I could not do that with my lifelong friendships.

Yes, Yes, it is difficult to express in words because words can never truly describe the actual experience, but I do manage to find words to describe it.
How accurately do you remember the experience in comparison to other life events that occurred around the time of the experience?
I remember the experience more accurately than other life events that occurred around the time of the experience, I remember this experience more vividly than any other event in my life. Nothing compares to it.
Do you have any psychic, non-ordinary or other special gifts after your experience that you did not have before the experience?
Yes, I can see angels (as well as demons) and I can see into the spiritual realm. I can hear from God audibly and God will often talk to me through visions or dreams. I often have visions of God or Jesus, of scriptures, and I also will have visions and dreams of the future. I can see into people's hearts and I can see in their eyes whether the light of God is in them and how much light is there. I can see people on a spiritual level, sense the color of their auras, and what their spiritual gifts are (or are not). I can sense various timelines and have teleported on occasion.
Are there one or several parts of your experience that are especially meaningful or significant to you?
I love it when God speaks to me audibly or directly, like He did when he told me, "It's your time" or when He told me, "On Earth, they call this 'The Kingdom of Heaven.'" I was overjoyed when God showed me I was going to Heaven.

What did you believe about the reality of your experience shortly (days to weeks) after it happened?
Experience was definitely real, I knew I had just experienced something incredibly profound and life-changing, that was more real than real, too real and eye-opening to ever possibly dismiss. I wanted to tell the whole world about what had happened or shout it from the rooftops! I couldn't wait to tell everyone my story and I was so overcome by what had happened that I shared it at every opportunity when I got to church or with anyone who would listen.
What do you believe about the reality of your experience now?
Experience was definitely real, I remember the experience as though it happened yesterday. Every time I think of it, it feels like it just happened, or it is happening all over again. The events were so real and so vivid and life-giving that I could not possibly doubt it ever happened again. I just want to go back.
At any time in your life, has anything ever reproduced any part of the experience?
Yes, Telling my story to others reproduces the experience for me. It is like I am living it all over again.
