For a long period of my childhood, I experienced many ailments including fainting. One morning, I woke up and fainted on my stairs.
My perception changed as I started feeling sensations that were humanly indescribable. They were so different that I would not call them human as the sensations did not have physical rules.
My soul was placed above the scene while my body was placed at the bottom of the stairs. My grandmother was trying to wake me up.
I was like an energetic ball that had been emptied of all bad vibrations. By that, I mean I didn’t have negative thoughts such as stress, anxiety, fear, and etc. Everything was positive. The word 'peace' would be the perfect term to describe my feeling.
At that moment, there was only my grandmother with me. In my soul form, I knew what emotions she was feeling. Yet, her worry and concern for me, had no effect on me. In this sphere, nothing mattered anymore. I just wanted to let her know not to worry about me and that it was great here so it was okay for her to keep living. There were no words for these sentiments. Everything worked under energy as if by some sort of transmission from being to being. After a few moments I returned to my body.
I didn't see a tunnel, white light or anything else. I had no notion of time but judging by the scene, it must have lasted between 5 and 10 minutes. When I felt drawn into my body, I was so unhappy because I still had this feeling of peace that I tried to keep inside me. I was so fantastically magnificent, but the feeling dissipated little by little as I settled back into my body.
Even when I feel good and am happy today, it is not comparable to the feeling I felt that day. After this event, I was no longer really the same person. I started to feel emotions from people close to me. It was so odd to feel emotions that were not mine.
I can be quietly living my life, when suddenly I start to cry. But I know this emotion does not belong to me. I know who is projecting this feeling and why the person is feeling this way. This has happened three times and I was able to have confirmation afterwards. I am convinced that my soul has made this link available to me because it was not like that before.
I know small things happen in my life that have no real importance. Yet, it impacts me a lot and these small things have also been confirmed to have happened. I also had premonition dreams which exhausted me for weeks. I can also sense illnesses and people close to death. Again this doesn’t happen with everyone but I feel it is not me who decides this.
In the end, I deduce that the physical body, the brain, or thoughts feed us negativity when we are no longer centered enough on ourselves. This causes us to know we are no longer truly happy. And when I speak of ourselves, I am talking about this thing that I describe as an energetic ball, which others would call soul.
Our physical body takes up a huge amount of space because it is visible. But, I think we should take more care of our invisible body, because it is the real engine of our body. I am happy to have experienced this. I am now fully aware of what I am, even though I have always been very spiritual. I feel really lucky to have been able to experience this phenomenon. It helped me to advance in my spirituality and allowed me to be fully interested in Buddhism.
I wonder if it would be possible to acquire such a level of happiness I felt that day; perhaps it would be what we call Nirvana?
