Met their spirit guide in the experience

Experience Description

I had surgery to remove my uterine tubes. I went into the surgery in good health. Other than being slightly underweight, everything else was perfectly normal. While I was under the effects of the anesthesia, I experienced my consciousness in a dark void. I was lying down as if I were on a bed. My spirit guide was standing next to me, and he told me without words that he was watching over my soul until I returned to my physical body. I had met this spirit guide before in a session of past life regression, so his presence felt familiar. I knew that he was wearing a human form for me, as I knew that his real form was beyond my perception. I felt very calm and safe in that void with this being. I knew that I was not in my physical body, and that my physical body was not in danger. I had no perception of time while I was in the void with my guide. I mostly remember feeling so safe, in a way I had never felt in this physical existence on earth, and I felt complete trust in my guide watching over my soul until I reunited with my body. He did not say that with words. This information felt like it was just coming through into my consciousness. When I woke up in the recovery room, as I slowly started to hear different beeping sounds, before I dared open my eyes, the first thing I thought was that I needed to remember this experience of consciousness. It felt profound, and I was scared I was going to forget it. Later I found out that it took me a long time to wake up from the anesthesia, about 2 hours longer than anticipated. I would not know how to explain any of that, and since then I have been looking for more information, and I have been diving more into the research on consciousness. Then I heard about your research, and I would love to get more insights about these experiences that do not involve life threatening situations.
